WeTheNorth is a specialized, sovereign darknet marketplace catering exclusively to the Canadian jurisdiction. Unlike international markets, we eliminate the vector of customs seizures by restricting trade to domestic routes only. We operate on a wallet-less / escrow-based system to ensure fund safety and minimize platform risk.

Border control is the primary point of failure in global darknet commerce. By enforcing a strict "Canada-to-Canada" policy, we bypass CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency) checkpoints entirely. This results in a near-100% success rate for logistics and significantly lower legal exposure for both vendors and clientele.

Bitcoin transactions are pseudonymous, not anonymous. The blockchain is public, allowing chain analysis firms to trace funds from exchanges to markets. Monero (XMR) is mandatory for high-security operations. XMR uses Ring Signatures and Stealth Addresses to completely obfuscate the sender, receiver, and transaction amount, rendering analysis impossible.

Funds are never sent directly to the vendor. When you purchase, coins are moved to a multi-signature market wallet.

• Phase 1: Buyer deposits funds; order status becomes "Processing".
• Phase 2: Vendor marks as "Shipped".
• Phase 3: Buyer receives goods and clicks "Finalize", releasing funds to the vendor.

If the buyer does not finalize, the system Auto-Finalizes after 14 days for physical items (48 hours for digital).

If an order does not arrive or matches the description poorly, the buyer can initiate a dispute before the auto-finalization timer expires. A market moderator will review the case. Vendors must provide proof of shipping; buyers may be asked for clean operational history. The moderator will then release funds to the appropriate party or split the refund.

WeTheNorth enforces mandatory PGP encryption for shipping details. Sending a shipping address in plain text is a critical security failure. If our servers were ever seized, unencrypted data would be compromised. By encrypting with the Vendor's Public Key, only the vendor can read your address. The market cannot read it.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Direct dealing (off-market) is strictly prohibited and is a bannable offense. Communicating on clearnet apps exposes your metadata and IP address. Furthermore, removing a transaction from escrow removes your financial protection. If a vendor asks you to move to Telegram, report them immediately.

We designed the platform to minimize data retention.
1. Images are stripped of EXIF metadata upon upload.
2. Orders are purged from the database 30 days after finalization.
3. Support tickets are auto-deleted after resolution.
We do not store IP addresses (Tor architecture makes this technically redundant, but we do not log circuit IDs).

Vendor status requires a bond payment (refundable upon retirement with good standing). You must have a verified PGP key and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled. Established vendors from other markets (Archetyp, etc.) can apply for a bond waiver by providing proof of reputation via signed PGP message on their profile.

WeTheNorth prioritizes harm reduction. The sale of Fentanyl (and analogues), weapons/firearms, explosives, poisons, and Child Exploitation Material is strictly forbidden. Vendors caught listing these items will be permanently banned and their bond seized.
